We saw the cabin from the gravel road and were in
awe. It was so beautiful. When we arrived we could hardly believe our eyes. The
Chalet was so welcoming and Peaceful. “yes” we said “yes, this is the place
where we will always spend new years”. Ty turned 2 that night on Dec 31st
@11:47PM, and we brought in the new year in style and with the ones we love. The
Hot tub was so relaxing, and the Ski hill only a few miles away. When we weren’t
cooking to eat at the big table with family we were playing in the snow or
laughing around the fire. A great time was had by all. Thank you for sharing
your chalet with our family.

This place is a “dream home” away from home with a great view in a great
environment, with all the comforts you need.
An absolutely awesome getaway !!!!

The view from the chalet was breathtaking. The scenery and serenity of the
location was incredible. We truly have great places in Saskatchewan. The
Outerbanks is one of them.
The Kohlmans 2007
I have to say that our stay at the Outerbanks was truly a memorable experience!
The location and view from the Chalet is breathtaking. Saskatchewan is full of
surprises. Thanks to Natalie and Sean.

We had 10 people in our group, kids and adults, and everyone was very impressed
with the chalet. It is designed and finished and decorated beautifully. We felt
at home with lots of room for everyone to spread out. We talked how this would
be a fantastic place to come in the winter as well. We will definitely be
talking about your place and showing our friends the pictures. We are wondering
if you have plans to build another chalet? We really enjoyed being able to BBQ
and have access to a big deep freeze., washer /dryer, dishwasher and Jacuzzi
tub. Not to mention 2 fireplaces, 8 person hot tub, satellite TV, telephone
service- absolutely all the amenities and more. Unbelievable. Not to mention the
view is second to none. Thanks so much for creating such an awesome get –away!

The Outerbanks is the perfect place for peace and tranquility. The views are
quite simply breathtaking and unequaled anywhere I have experienced in
Saskatchewan. Before we left home, we spent a while trying to think of anything
that we might need during our stay, only to discover upon arrival that our hosts
had catered to our every need. With 4 adults and 4 kids, such is the space
available at the Outerbanks, that we were still able to find comfort and peace
and thoroughly enjoy our stay. Our one and only regret was having to leave.

“The Outerbanks” is a definite gem!! We have stayed in many chalets in Canada
and Europe, and in comparison “The Outerbanks” is so impressive for its quality.
It is just really well done – down to the finest detail. You feel pampered and
special in the beautiful surroundings. Its hard to believe its a “rental” -
unbelievable. It’s an ideal retreat for family or a group of friends.

This cabin is gorgeous and the view is amazing. All the “small details” make it
even more inviting and “homey”. We all enjoyed our weekend here whether it was
snowmobiling, relaxing with a book or in the hot tub. I would recommend this
place to anyone and everyone. Bring the kids too.

This is a very beautiful and huge cabin in a breathtaking spot. Well thought
out, well stocked oasis! The decorating for Xmas was gorgeous, thanks for the
trees! We had a memorable, old fashioned family Christmas. Nice to have a bar
fridge, and deep freeze, and also the dishwasher – thanks. We’ll be back.
The Holbrooks 2007
The layout of the cabin is great and the view is breathtaking. We will
definitely be back, as long as our family doesn’t outgrow it. We are a group of
11. There was lots to do, skidoo trails are great, skiing, hot tub and good
walks. The stars at night are incredible. The hot tub was welcome after a day of
skiing or skidooing. Thanks for all the little extras in the cabin.

So happy we found this GEM tucked away! Loved the accommodations, the view,
quick access to the ski resort, the toboggan run and of course the hot tub –
perched right on the hillside overlooking the valley – really neat. It’s like
going to the mountains without the 10 hour drive!! This is a fabulous get away.
We can hardly wait to come back!

Sean and Natalie. Thanks so much for the excellent stay. I grew up in this area
and as still impressd with the views from the beautiful lodge you have built.
You seem to have thought of everything we could have needed (forgot shampoo –
oops!) but we did find the corkscrew by the way. I hope you have a busy rest of
the season with your business. We will definitely be back again . Thanks again.

Our family, Mom , Dad and 4 teenagers and kids, wanted to spend a few days
skiing in the mountains. We tried to find a reasonably priced self catering
cabin large enough to fit us all, but failed. We decided to search in
Saskatchewan instead, and were delighted to find “the Outerbanks”. It is located
within view of the Wapiti Valley Ski resort, and is also close to 3 sets of
cross country Ski trails groomed by Melfort ski club. We spent several days
luxuriating in the elegant amenities of the 2 storey cabin which overlooks
Codette lake. After a vigorous day of Skiing, what greater pleasure than to
wallow in the hot tub beneath a starry Sky, and then to watch TV curled up under
a fleecy blanket with the fire crackling. The kids loved the deep soft quilts on
the beds, and the abundance of couches. Mum loved the spacious kitchen with its
modern appliances including dishwasher. Dad kept his binoculars on the
pastureland, river and lake below the chalet – visible from the dining table.
All in all the location and contents of “The Outerbanks” greatly enhanced our
wonderful Ski holiday. Thanks.

What a wonderful place to go and get rid of all the hustle and bustle of the
city, and enjoy the great northern outdoors.
